The Snow Show That Warms the Hearts

Slava Polunin, the leading mime from the Leningrad group Licedei, was my favorite clown in the whole entire world. He and his friends made me laugh, they made me cry, they exposed the delicate nature of people around me and I was kinder because of the lessons they taught through their silly skits...

Years later I took my daughter to see Slava's Snow Show in New York.

It ripped open all my protective layers which had been carefully built over the years.

I wasn't the only one in the audience that felt the uniting current of love and sadness. I felt that the world became a little kinder after that show.

If you ever have a chance to see Slava's Snow Show, take it. Here's a couple of little episodes that might give you a tiny clue about it.
